Our client in Boca Raton, FL is hiring an Enterprise Demand Management Analyst for a contract position.
Description:
- The Lead Consultant, Enterprise Demand Management holds a leadership role in the EPMO and is responsible for design, implementation and operations of the process, tools and reporting to manage enterprise demand for new projects.
- The Analyst will ensure alignment to enterprise capabilities and business strategies while promoting and driving a clear process for intake, prioritization and authorization of new projects.
- In addition, the role will drive the process to provide insight on strategic alignment, balance and mix of projects in the pipeline. This role will conduct risk assessment, cost benefit analysis, evaluation of synergy opportunities, capacity analysis and other factors to put forth recommendations to the Executive Committee on the best projects to authorize in the optimal sequence.
- Central to this position is executive presence, composure, the ability to influence without authority and experience providing insight on the enterprise portfolio
- This role will have a great deal of executive visibility and a direct impact to the realization of our business strategy.
- Embody accountability by managing and driving the process to identify, score, prioritize, quantify, evaluate and recommend authorization of the best projects that drive business strategy and balance the enterprise portfolio.
- Support the development of standardized solutions to better manage the project request pipeline and provide accurate and timely information on project requests.
- Improve quality by leading efforts with project, program, PMO, IT and business leadership to research and resolve data integrity or process issues that impact quality and consistency.
- Drive the continuous assessment and improvement process to positively impact the capabilities, services and value the EPMO delivers for optimizing the project portfolio.
- Lead the adoption of best practices across the company by providing formal training, or informal leadership, guidance and mentoring as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience Graduate degree preferred-area of study-IT, General Management, Finance or related field.
- 7+ years of applicable experience
- EPMO, PMO, Portfolio, Program and Project management experience
- Prior experience in PMO operations, demand management, project leadership consulting, business strategy, program management & process engineering
- Experience solving complex problems in a large enterprise environment
- Experience overseeing large projects and reporting progress and performance metrics and analyzing impact on business drivers with executive and/or board level.
- Multiple large project, program management experience to achieve specific business goals or objectives
- Prior experience as an IT business partner preferred
- Advanced in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficient in MS Project, Smartsheets, and other project management or executive portfolio dashboard tools.
- Big 4 consultancy or equivalent experience preferred
